Colors of a sleepless

In this part of my visual work I tried to capture the feelings of the various disorders of sleep and its relationship to the work of art. One night I found to do with the sleepless nights, and from my insomnia comes the ability to paint, this idea has matured to become the central theme of my work.

So my insomnia is my inspiration and my sorrow not only my subject material but also my work.
shapes and colors that remain in the memory of a childhood nightmare, the feeling that the night gives the sleepwalker is an exquisite blend of fears, anxieties and silences. Memories that do not belong to a concrete reality, but rather an unconscious that seeks to take this reality, and give my paintings as a bridge to the union.

The images come from that world of dark fantasy, there's the almost violent force of my work, but my colors are bright, energetic as it is this energy and vitality that keeps me from night to sleep, somehow my nights are full of colors, full of shadows and light contrasts. Little by little, the colors with textures are taking over and removing the composition figuration space.
